A study was conducted to evaluate the Effectiveness of Jacobson’s Progressive Muscle Relaxation Technique on Premenstrual Syndrome among Adolescent girls at Selected Schools, Salem. Quasi experimental (Pretest and posttest control group) design adopted. Non-probability purposive sampling technique used select 60 adolescent girls.30 in group 30 group. Informed verbal consent obtained from girls. Structured interview schedule collect demographic variables modified premenstrual syndrome rating scale assess level symptoms pretest for who are near menstrual cycle both groups by using scale. In researcher divided into three intervention (Jacobson progressive muscle relaxation technique) provided 5th day after menstruation 20 days with duration 20mts daily basis. No given At 21st post test done same The implies that is a safe, cost effective, painless easy practice. finding reveals effective reducing
